We’re all busy in our day to day lives and it’s easy to forget about people less fortunate than ourselves. We’d like to support every charitable cause but obviously we can’t. So as a team Mansell Finishes identified two charities that are very important to us and we’ll be giving back in any way we can, starting with our own calendar of fundraising events.
The Christie is a leading expert in cancer care, research and education based in Manchester. It is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe, treating more than 44,000 patients a year and operates with 2,500 staff, 300 volunteers and 30,000 public members. They have been pioneering cancer research breakthroughs for over 100 years and in a global survey was ranked as the most technically advanced cancer centre in the world outside North America.
The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Gifts from the public makes a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to patients and their families.
