Ted Mansell formed Mansell Finishes in January 1992, originally as Mansell Plasterers. At that time, Mansell Plasterers was the biggest plastering sub-contractor in the North West.
As construction moved into the new millennium, trends and demands changed, and Mansell Plasterers did too. Our name change in 1997 to Mansell Finishes reflected innovations within the market place, to which we responded. The more cost and time effective drylining, metal stud partition and suspended ceiling solutions became the mainstay of our business, yet we retained the ability to plaster as well. As system building became more refined, with the advent of lightweight steel framing systems, external polymer renders and internal high specification finishes, Mansell Finishes moved again with these changes in the late 1990’s, ensuring that we remained a forerunner in modern methods of construction.
Dean Johnston joined the business as Managing Director in 2006 and continues to give the business clear leadership and direction. His background and experience working for Main Contractors has enabled us to really understand what our clients want and to deliver it. It was his vision that has given the company the focus of three specialist divisions, meaning that we can really offer value with our experience in Partitions and Ceilings; SFS and Render Systems and Plastering and Residential.
Mansell Finishes Limited are committed to exceeding customer expectations wherever possible by providing the right resource to the right place at the right time. We are dedicated to forming working partnerships throughout the construction industry, both with customers and suppliers alike.
