Main Contractors must deliver a quicker ROI in hotel construction projects

Figures from VisitBritain report that there will be a 2.5% growth in international tourist arrivals to 35.1m in 2015. Expenditure is expected to grow by 4.5%, or £1bn in cash terms, to £22bn, which will be a new record for the tourism industry.

According to BDO, 2015 will see an increase in lenders willing to offer finance as their appetite for investment returns due to improved overall economic conditions.

Mansell Finishes Limited (Mansell) has secured two new contracts with Seddon Construction, one of the UK’s leading construction providers, collectively worth almost £800,000.

The largest of the two projects is City Place, Chester, a prestigious development that will provide in excess of 500,000 sq. ft. of Grade A office accommodation, associated retail and leisure facilities as well as 200 residential units.

Mansell Finishes hits 30k prefabricated panel milestone

Mansell Finishes secures seven-figure Extra Care facility contract

Mansell Finishes has secured a £1.175 million contract to supply and install an SFS pre-panelised system for the construction of the Extra Care facility in Wellington, Telford for Wrekin Housing Trust.

The contract, awarded to Mansell by the Main Contractor McPhillips Ltd, follows a competitive tender and in addition to the SFS pre-panelised system also includes drylinng, suspended ceilings and plastering works.
