What size projects can you handle?

We’ve worked with hundreds of main contractors across many sectors and can deliver any size project from a small on-site finishing job through to large scale projects.

How do you manage a project on-site?

We employ an experienced team to work on-site including Project Managers, Senior Site Managers, Site Managers and Site Supervisors. All have hands on experience in our sector, as they were all once plasterers, tapers and fixers. Via these site management teams, we work closely with our clients to produce all the necessary plans including logistics, quality plans and resourcing plus site records as well as health and safety and environmental documentation.

What is your approach to SHEQ?

We are 100% committed to SHEQ and this is supported by the procedures and processes we have in place. Our Integrated Management System provides a robust framework to manage Health and Safety, Environmental issues and Quality in the business. This IMS is fully compliant with, and certified to, the OHSAS 18001; ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards and we employ a full time, in-house SHEQ Manager. View our quality policy.

Do you have any quality accreditations?

We have a comprehensive quality assurance programme. This is a vital component of our Integrated Management System, which is certified to the ISO 9001 standard. Quality is overseen and driven by our SHEQ Manager to ensure that quality assurance and high standards are achieved across the company. View our quality policy.

How do you ensure a safe working environment?

We have created a culture that empowers our people across the business to put their safety, and that of their colleagues, first. Our SHEQ Manager audits all sites monthly using our RAG Report system and our systematic approach helps control risk, reduce costs and improves our reputation, which is demonstrated by fewer days lost to injury. We are CHAS approved, and our staff repeatedly win awards on sites with Bovis Lend Lease, Carillion and Laing O’Rourke. View our Health and Safety policy.

Do you have an environmental policy?

We take our environmental commitments very seriously. Our overall approach is guided by our Environmental Management System, part of our Integrated Management System and this is certified to the ISO 14001 standard. We actively tackle issues such as resource protection and climate change head on and always look for better ways to do things, such as our Off-Site SFS solutions that save up to 25% waste on projects. Do you have a training plan for your people?

We have a cross company Training Plan in place for Site Operatives through to Directors. We are CITB registered and through the Finishes & Interiors Sector (FIS), we are able to link into all current initiatives and pilot schemes as opportunities arise. We have forged strong relationships with the Specialist Training Providers with specific knowledge and resources within our sector.

Are you financially secure?

We were established in 1992 and are able to prove our financial stability. We have long established credit lines to fund projects including materials and labour. We can supply evidence of our financial track record and our ability to work to a commercial plan and will provide references as appropriate. Do you have a strong supply chain?

We only ever work with the best manufacturers in the industry and have well established trading relationships with them. We have consolidated our purchasing policy and only ever use tried and trusted manufacturers and distributors. We also have the necessary lines of credit in place with our approved suppliers so that service levels and stock profiles are optimised.
