Mansell Finishes employ a full time, in-house SHEQ Manager, Jim Ashton, demonstrating our commitment to Health and Safety on site. Jim has been with the company for 4 years, and is fully qualified to Degree level. He is a plasterer by trade; and hence has a clear understanding of Health and Safety in our sector. View CV.
We operate strict health and safety procedures, which are based upon the following system
Site Operatives
• MFL induction/Guide to Safe Working Practice
• Method Statements and Risk Assessments communicated and signed for
• Log all PPE issued
• Give weekly Tool Box Talks
Site Managers
• Carry out Weekly Site Inspection
• Accident Reporting Procedure
• Monthly Safety Report - collates all Information
SHEQ Manager
• Fortnightly Site Audit - Report
All sites performance is collated in one report; which is communicated to all staff and directors on a monthly basis.

We are CHAS approved, meaning for those companies that recognize this accreditation, you will not need to carry out any form of Health and Safety certification on us.
